On Twitter, New York Post reporter Joel Sherman says that he’s “hearing” the Cuban outfield prospect Jorge Soler will be signing with the Chicago Cubs. Sherman says that the Yankees “tried” to sign Soler, but were apparently unable to best the Cubs offer.
